Heather Burns

Heather Burns has been working closely with Carolyn and Paul Zweben for over a decade and is grateful to have learned the ins and outs of this constantly shifting business from such seasoned and professional brokers. Her network consists of other top brokers, managing agents, attorneys, and mortgage brokers. Consequently, these relationships have proven immensely important and give her and her clients the edge. For instance, the network has helped secure properties.

It is crucial to Heather that her customers know that she always has their best interests at heart. Therefore, Heather will work tirelessly and cheerfully to ensure that each step of the process will be cared for correctly. In hopes of making this sometimes stressful sale or purchase transaction as seamless and stress-free as possible.

Important to realize that following Paul Zweben‘s marriage of real estate and restaurants in 2013, Heather and her husband opened St. Gambrinus Beer Shoppe. A unique craft beer bar and bottle shop in downtown Brooklyn, adjacent to the Barclay Center. Notably, the opening of St. Gambrinus was the culmination of over ten years of solid “research” in craft micro-brew beer. With the expertise and business-mindedness of a real estate perfectionist.

Heather graduated Magna Cum Laude from Adelphi University and went on to do graduate work at Fordham University and the University of Michigan, studying Medieval Art and Architectural Histo y. Before beginning her real estate career, she worked at several museums throughout the city, including the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Museum of Modern Art, Brooklyn Museum, and as an educator and docent at The Cathedral of St. John the Divine.

Heather and her husband live in Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn. Their family loves trying new restaurants and local breweries and doing lots of seasonal home cooking. In addition, Heather maintains regular yoga practice. As a result, she believes yoga has made all the other pieces of her life fall gracefully into place.
