A few weeks ago Mrs. Z and I headed to BK for an appointment to help a customer value her apartment on Garfield Place for Estate planning purposes. Not only did we fall in love with the neighborhood, but the apartment had views of Prospect Park, the Hudson River and Lady Liberty. It was amazing!

Andrew Karasz has been in the food business for a very long time and I worked with him at Union Pacific before the Brooklyn Bridge had been erected.

His place is lovely and located in such a sweet and charming area of Brooklyn!

The minute we arrived, we were treated like royalty. Andrew spent a lot of time with us and kept on serving us extra little goodies.

We, of course ate too much but some of the things I really think you should try:

Roasted Beet Salad

Lolla Rossa Lettuce, Goat Cheese, Hazelnut, Blood Orange Vinaigrette

Spicy Sausage Rigatoni

Crushed Tomato, Oregano, Aged Pecorino

Double Cut Roasted Pork Chop

Apple-Barley Risotto, Blue Cheese, Wilted Spinach

The place was rocking and we are so happy for Andrew and his lovely wife on their new venture! It is a great neighbourhood joint and a fantastic destination restaurant!
