After having an accepted offer at a beautiful apartment on Riverside drive with the hopes that our clients would be fully executed very quickly, Carolyn and I decided to unwind a bit and head over to the new restaurant called Lincoln, in Lincoln Center.

Note to self. If you are like us and usually make a decision for food at the drop of a dime, head over at 7:50pm on any given night because the majority of early diners head to the Ballet or Opera just before 8pm.
We lucked out last Friday and got to sit at the bar and watch the action in the kitchen.
I must say, watching the young men and women in the kitchen cook with so much love made me miss that part of my life.
The bartender/ waitress was so smart in her wine knowledge and totally understood what service was all about.
The mostly Italian wine list gave me some curve balls, but our server helped us navigate to what we wanted.
If you don’t have the eggplant parmesan, you have no idea what you are missing. It is hands down the best eggplant parm I have ever eaten in 46 years. The beet salad was off the charts as well as the raw fish sampler.
We also had a rigatoni, tomato and sausage dish and a spaghetti with a red clam sauce- MMMMM- good!
A quick selection of sorbets and ice creams and we were gone!
Another great place to add to the UWS dining list!
