Local 111
We have a house upstate close to Hudson...It really is a sanctuary and we are about to head up for the weekend.
Of course, I will be going to Holmquest Greenhouses at 516 Spook Rock Road in Hudson for some great veggies and flowers and then into Hudson for some proteins to grill on the BBQ......but if we are inclined to eat out, then we will head to Local 111 in Philmont.
David Wurth- who worked in the city for years, finally took the plunge and left Manhattan for a more sedate life. I am not sure that happened, cause everythime we go to the restaurant, it is packed. He cooks from the heart and uses all local ingredients. It is a converted gas station and we say go and eat till you drop......

West Side highway North
to Saw Mill to Taconic Parkway North- From the Taconic State Parkway
Take the Philmont / Harlemville exit off the Taconic State Parkway. Turn left at the end
of the exit ramp -- towards Philmont. Travel 2.1 miles to the Village of Philmont. Local 111
is
on the left at the corner of Summit Street and Route 217 (across the street from
Stewart's).
