Last night was the super cool tasting event, Chefs For Scher, at the Bowery Hotel. Tickets were $150 a person ($225 for VIP tickets) and went to benefit the Steven Scher Memorial Scholarship for Aspiring Restaurateurs. Chefs present included Laurent Tourondel, Scott Conant, Bobby Flay, Paul Liebrandt of Corton, and Marc Murphy of Landmarc, among others. I thought the event was going to be low-key, but it turned out to be anything but. Video produced by Laurie Pila Horowitz.
