One of my colleagues is helping organize a great event next Thursday the 25th......Here is a brief description of what the group is all about and the event information:

Learning Leaders is New York's premier volunteer organization, providing students in the New York City public school system with an enriched tutorial program for over 51 years.  Last year, over 265,000 students were supported with help in reading, writing and math, as well as other subjects.  Over 14,000 volunteers give their time in 960 of the City's 1,400 public schools to make sure these students receive a valuable learning experience.  We are asking your help to ensure that more students have the same opportunity.
