Last night..ok at 6pm..my wife and I had dinner at Scarpretta

The  place is very nice looking with thickwooden beams on the ceiling and cool mirrors on the walls.
I was so excited for the food...
Eat as much of the salami bread that you can..delicious.
The Fritto Misto was just OK...needs fresh lemon
The Borlotti Bean soup was well seasoned, but again, just ok.
The Mozzarella Carozza was no "Raos", but pretty good
The Spaghetti with tomato sauce was tasty as was the Dal Plin- stuffed pasta with pork and chicken...very delicate.
The cheesecake was ok too.
The place is brand spanking new...so it takes time to work out the kinks.
We will surely be back and I know the food will be much better as the kitchen and dining room staff get better.
