...but since we do not want to spend too much money and as we have two kids my question is where should I buy to have a great safe neighborhood, with many restaurants and shops around, easy to access midtown manhattan, building with many amenities (ideally trophy building) and with great potential in case of resale in 5-6 years time. We are hesitating between buying a Manhattan condo of 1000 sq ft which is kind of small but would be well located or a twice that size condo in outer boroughs (still need to figure out where but it seems Queens could be great for us). Our budget should be no more than $1.5m. Any thoughts on where to buy?
