Steak,Wine and Real Estate

I have been working on this blog for months now and still have not let everyone know about it.
As many of my friends know, my life long dream was to be a Chef and I have had and will continue to have an amazing career in the food service industry.
Having been in the service industry for 29 years and also selling real estate for the past 3 years (as well as buying and selling apartments and multiple dwellings since 1989), I have realized that New Yorkers speak about many things, politics, babies, religion, and gossip, just to name a few.
But the two biggest things that New Yorkers speak about are food and real estate.
Who better to talk about those two subjects than me?
I will never review a restaurant on this blog, but I will tell you about places that I go to with my wife, friends and family. I will tell you what we ate and what we liked and who we know in the restaurant.

As far as real estate, which quite honestly, I feel is the same  business as the food service industry, will be told with fresh eyes and ears, with the same passion that I have had serving food over the last 29 years.....

I am on a plane ( it is 6:30 am ny time), heading to Buenos Aires to learn about a new real estate and food opportunity. It is very exciting and I cannot wait to tell you about it.

I was picked up at 7:15 pm last night, Memorial Day and we got to JFK in no time at all.  I am traveling with my friend and real estate colleague, high energy, extremely funny and a super successful real estate broker in New York City. His name is Doug.

He just cracks me up all of the time.
We boarded the plane at 9:30 pm and sat at the gate till 12:15 am, Yuck!

Apparently, a water filter was broken in the rest room and the filter needed to be replaced. It took almost 3 hours to find the part. I could not believe how calm everyone on the plane was.

The plane was finally fixed and we were on our way by 12:15. I took two Tylenol PM and slept like the olive oil packed anchovy that I should be. Being in in coach, olive oil packed anchovies are an excellent comparison to the way my knees feel at the moment.......
