Back Forty

Last night my wife and I took a $22 cab ride to get a great burger.We went to

Back Forty located at 190 Avenue B at 12th street. They are the same owners

as Savoy (certainly long time pros in the industry).We sat at the bar and the

atmosphere was filled with young hipsters, (I actually can say that I am not a

hipster, but can pull it off from time to time).We had a delicious 2004 Santa

Barbara Syrah and a smell and look of the just pulled from the roasting oven,

suckling pig was to die for.The pork jowl nuggets with Jalapeno jam was quite

tasty, but super tiny, the butterhead lettuce salad was yummy!We also had the

whole fish special, which I of course deboned to perfection, crispy greaseless

onion rings that needed salt and a great burger.It really is a nice restaurant if you
