The Stanton Social
7 years ago we interviewed a young talented chef named Chris Santos- I loved him, but he was just not right for our project. Thank god we did not hire him, cause he has blazed new and successful trails ever since. I guess I will take props for Chris's success.
He opened The Stanton Social 4 years ago on the lower east side and it has been rocking since inception.
Friday night we went for dinner with another couple and were treated like royalty! ( I was the oldest one of 363 people and that's ok).
We had great raw bar, Chris's take on mini Caesar salad, onion soup dumplings, great service and great beer.
The desserts were off the charts.
