When you can buy vegetables that have been just picked, life just gets even better.
I was playing around this weekend and came up with a yummy side dish!

Feeds 8 people~

Ingredients:

• 2 Pounds cleaned snap peas- (you need to remove the small fiber that runs along one of the sides of the bean.)
• 1 jar Pickled Garlic (you can also make your own by heating 1/3 sugar, 1/3 white wine and 1/3 white vinegar and cook the garlic pearls till tender)
• 1 Pound thinly sliced radishes - think disks
• 4 ounces fresh basil
• Sea salt and cracked black pepper to taste

Method:

• Place pickled garlic and all of the liquid from the garlic into a sauté pan.
• Reduce the liquid by ½ and make sure the garlic is tender
• Add the snap peas and make sure the pan has high heat.
• As soon as the peas are tender, add the radishes and basil and toss quickly.
• You want the peas and radishes to be crisp and the basil to be wilted.
• Season with salt and pepper and you are good to go!
